Our Conversational English program provides a great opportunity for you to converse with native English speakers in a relaxed setting. Classes focus on topics that help students enjoy and get more out of their experience in Canada while learning in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
What We Do
Classes begin each week with an opening activity that introduces the topic for the day's lesson. The lessons focus on subjects that help students enjoy and get more out of their experience in Canada.
Some of the lessons focus on Canadian Holidays such as Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, and Valentine's Day. Others examine Canadian sports such as football and hockey. Every year we do a class on cooking and job interviews.
Once the opening activity has concluded, we separate into smaller groups for the remainder of the morning. This provides an opportunity to focus on the lesson with more personalized instruction.
We also have a few social activities throughout the year such as picnics and barbecues in the summer. In the winter we generally have a Christmas Banquet.
When We Meet
Conversational English Classes - Saturday mornings: 10:30am - 12:00pm
Classes begin mid-September and run until the beginning of April. Note: Classes are over for the summer and start again in September.
At the end of each class a free lunch is provided to allow more opportunities for conversation.
Sunday mornings: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
If you are learning English and want to learn about what the Bible teaches, you can join us on Sunday mornings. The Bible study resumes on June 3 and will run until August 19. During this study we will be looking at the parables of Jesus from the Gospel books (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).
Or, if you are interested in one-on-one Bible study please send a message to email@example.com
