This morning we were warmly welcomed at Emmanuel Baptist Church. We enjoyed the fellowship and solid teaching from the Word (John 14 in fact). We also met the leader of Caravan there who is one of their supported missionaries.

After church some of us went to the beach again as others did our grocery shopping. We were very quickly on our way.

It only takes about half an hour to get to Tijuana. Many of the youth commented on how quickly the transition happens. They noticed the difference in homes, garbage in the streets, graffiti, animals, language and of course the difference in the food (ask about brain tacos sometime). But most importantly, as Pastor Tim reminded us, we want to notice the people. Please pray for us in this.

So now we are sitting here at Caravan. The bags are in the rooms, the trucks are loaded, and now we are just relaxing and enjoying some games and fellowship. Everyone is healthy and in good spirits as we begin our week of ministry.
