Youth

The central focus of the Youth Ministries at Hillsdale is our Wednesday evening Care Group. Our desire is for youth to grow together as a community and to challenge each other to go deeper in their walk with God. We also welcome those who are still on the journey and struggling through questions about who God is and if He loves them.

Friday evening activities are intended to be a lot of fun. We hope to provide a safe, loving and Christ-honouring venue for both our youth and their peers. Once a month we participate in regular service projects which give our youth an opportunity to reach out to others.

Our youth Sunday School classes (10 am on Sunday mornings from September through June) are an opportunity for discussion about the Bible and what it has to say about relevant issues for young people today.

Friday, September 10 & 11: Retreat at Dallas Valley
Meet at the church at 6 pm on Friday; Drop off will be at the church on Saturday at 10 pm.
Our September retreat is one of our best events of the year. You will have a chance to meet new and familiar friends while having a blast at Dallas Valley. There will be camp wide games, horseback riding, wall climbing, high ropes, awesome food, and an opportunity to learn more about living for Jesus. Our youth leaders are extremely excited to see all of you again, and welcome new youth members. This is something you don't want to miss!

Friday, September 17: Rowdy Night @ HBC
7 - 9:30 pm: Get ready to burn off some crazy energy with friends while having a lot of fun!

Friday, September 24: Newspaper Madness
7 - 9:30 pm: Ever wonder what a large group of youth could do with an endless supply of newspaper? You'll just have to come and find out! (Don't forget to invite your friends!)

7 - 10 pm: Come prepared to get dirty, muddy, and wet! (This event will go on, rain or shine!)

Meet at the church at 6 pm on Friday; Drop off will be at the church on Sunday at 2 pm.
Join us for an amazing weekend away as we kick off the new year with the Sr. High Retreat!

Friday, September 24: Trashion Night
7 - 10pm: You may have heard the popular phrase "One man's trash is another man's treasure" - we are taking that phrase literally. Come expecting a night of fun with friends.
