God cares about kids and so do we! We commit ourselves to show the love of God to each child, to help each child understand God's message of forgiveness and hope in the Bible, and to equip each child to live out God's purposes for their life.

Infants & Toddlers (Newborn to Age 3)
Infant, toddler and preschool care are provided during each of our regular Sunday services. There are nurseries for infants to 1-year-olds, and children's church for the 2 and 3-year-olds, and both programs run for the entire service.

There are maps and signs posted throughout the building to help you find the right classroom for your child, but please feel free to ask someone! When you drop off your child in their classroom, he or she will be registered and you will be given a security tag to identify you as the parent and/or guardian. You will need to present this tag when you pick up your child.

You are welcome to keep your child with you during the worship service. If you choose to do so, we encourage you to sit near the back of the auditorium so that you can easily slip out if your child gets restless. If you need to leave the service, we have closed circuit TVs in the hallway outside the auditorium, in the library and in the nurseries so that you can still be a part of the worship service.

8:30 & 11:30 am Services

For the entire 8:30 and 11:30 services, there is childcare available for infants, one-year-olds, and two-year-olds. See "Infants and Toddlers" at the top of this page for more details.

Early Elementary Children (Age 4 to Grade 3)
Caraway Street is a program that runs during the 8:30 and 11:30 worship services in the school months. Children (ages 4 to grade 3) are dismissed from the auditorium for Caraway Street partway through each of these services. Through topical themes, actors and puppets make truths from God's word come alive. Kids are sure to come away knowing more of God's Word and understanding more of His heart for them. For greater spiritual enrichment, many parents choose to put their kids in both Sunday School and Caraway Street.

(During the summer, the Caraway Street team takes a break, and there is an alternate children's church time for this age group.)

Older Elementary Children (Grade 4 to Grade 5+)
We encourage children in grade 4 and 5 to be a part of the regular worship service. Our hope is that they will engage in the music, the sermon, and any other activities that may take place.

To help kids follow along in the service, "Sermon Notes for Kids" are available at the information booth.

10:00 am Service

For the entire 8:30 and 11:30 services, there is childcare available for infants, one-year-olds, and two-year-olds. See "Infants and Toddlers" at the top of this page for more details.

Sunday School (Age 2 to Grade 5)
For the entire 10:00 worship service, children ages 2 to grade 5 have Sunday School. Grouped in age-appropriate classes, kids learn about God through a systematic course of Bible stories. Hands-on activities and personal application help make this ministry effective in changing lives from the inside out.

Please note that on long weekends, holidays, or over the summer, scheduling may change.

Midweek

For kids in Kindergarten through Grade 5
Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the church
September through April
Faithbuilders will start this fall on September 15.

Faithbuilders puts the "active" into "activities" as kids discover who Jesus is and how to follow Him. Games, skits, and crafts add up to fun, but best of all, this ministry is a great place to introduce friends to God. Here is a schedule to show you what a typical Faithbuilders evening is like.

Remember to keep memorizing those verses and to bring along some friends because Wednesday nights are't something you are going to want to miss.

Cost of Registration: $25 per child or $50 per family. The child's first year is attendance is free.

Summertime

Infants and Toddlers (Newborn to Age 3)

Junior Church (Age 4 to Grade 3)
Summertime junior church keeps the same format as Caraway Street does in the school year: children (age 4 to grade 3) are dismissed partway through the service. Themes and topics change from summer to summer.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) (Age 4 to Grade 6)
VBS is a day camp that we host every summer (usually the 3rd week of August), free of charge. VBS is packed full of fun! It’s a week filled with great music, exciting stories, hilarious drama, crazy games, and delicious snacks.

Summer Memory Program (Children under 12))
Each summer we have a Bible memory program for children under 12. While hiding God's Word in their hearts, they can win prizes. This summer's verses are from the Psalms. Kids, when you can say all the verses on any one page you will get a prize (pick it up at the Information Booth), Here is a list of the verses - the program ends August 31, 2010.
